sometimes a step of faith is like nothing you would recognise
it comes clothed in
of all things
a pair of shorts. for the first time in 10 years
and facing down the voices speaking from the past
the ones whispering shame into my ears
yelling, really
so loud-so long
faith is the other voice
shame does not define you.
a step of faith looks like a lot of different things. you might not recognise mine. because today it just wore plain old grey bermuda shorts and felt a lot like freedom.
